What Are Cookies?

Third-Party Services

Google Maps — if we embed a map on our site, Google may set cookies for fraud prevention and usage statistics.

Finance tools — if you use our finance calculator or application tool, the provider may set their own cookies. Please refer to their privacy policy for details.

Session Data

We automatically log basic session data such as device type, IP address, and browser information. This helps us diagnose problems, prevent fraud, and understand how people browse our site. An IP address may indicate your approximate location and internet service provider.

These terms apply to all vehicle sales by Northlands Camper Company ("we" / "the Seller") to the customer ("you" / "the Buyer").

1. Delivery

We will make every reasonable effort to meet any agreed delivery date, but we accept no liability for delays caused by factors outside our control. We may deliver a vehicle ahead of the estimated date with 14 days' prior notice. Delivery is considered complete when the vehicle is made available for collection and you have been notified it is ready. Physical delivery to your address is only provided where expressly agreed and at your cost.

2. Price & Payment

The vehicle remains our property until the full purchase price has been received and cleared. Cheque payments are not considered cleared until funds have passed through your bank. Where finance is involved, the vehicle will not be released until cleared funds are received from the finance provider.

3. Part Exchange

Where we agree to accept your vehicle as part exchange, it must be delivered to us in the same condition as when originally inspected, subject to fair wear and tear. The vehicle must be your property outright and free of any finance agreement — or, if finance is outstanding, it must be capable of early settlement, in which case the outstanding amount will be deducted from the agreed part-exchange value.

4. Failure to Collect

If you fail to collect and pay for the vehicle within 14 days of being notified it is ready, we reserve the right to treat the contract as cancelled. In such cases, the deposit will be forfeited and any additional costs or losses incurred may be deducted from any sums already paid before a refund is issued.

5. Examination & Condition

We encourage you to inspect any vehicle before purchase. Any defects visible upon inspection are excluded from the implied condition of satisfactory quality. Second-hand vehicles are sold subject to reasonable wear and tear for their age, mileage, and type, and may have had paintwork or bodywork repairs carried out.

6. Warranty

All used vehicles sold by Northlands Camper Company come with a 12-month guarantee. Where applicable, any unexpired manufacturer's warranty will be transferred to you at the point of sale. We will assist you in accessing any manufacturer warranty benefit.

7. Claims & Defects

Any claim based on a defect in condition or specification must be raised within 14 days of collection, or within a reasonable time if the defect was not apparent on initial inspection. Where a valid claim is made, we may at our discretion repair the vehicle, replace the relevant part, or provide a partial refund.

In the event of a dispute, we will first seek to resolve matters through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes may be referred to an approved Alternative Dispute Resolution provider via The Motor Ombudsman.

8. Cancellation Rights (Distance & Off-Premises Contracts)

If you entered into a contract without face-to-face contact at our premises, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of taking possession of the vehicle, without giving a reason. To cancel, contact us in writing. You must return the vehicle at your own cost within 14 days of cancelling, and we will refund all payments received, including delivery costs.

Please note: if the value of the vehicle has been reduced due to unnecessary use (including driving more than 100 miles or making modifications), we may deduct that amount from your refund. Vehicles built to your personal specification cannot be cancelled under this right.
